Here at Highland, we start any lessons with establishing a relationship between horse and human. We work to equip those wanting to know horses better with the knowledge needed to understand horse psychology and body language/communication. We offer the opportunity to not just ride but to work with horses in a meaningful way that is effective. Energy, intention and cues are at the core of any relationship with a horse. We spend however much time is needed exploring and learning this on the ground before we hop on and have this translate to riding.

We offer everything from Toddler Mini Sessions to adult lessons and everything in between. Please see below for breakdown!

Mini Toddler Sessions //$40 -These 30 min sessions include intimate time with one of our child-savvy horses and allows the child to explore being around the horse with supervision. We may groom, pet or if the child is calm enough, even sit on the horses back, touching them and exploring the relationship.

Lessons //$55- These are 1 hour lessons offered for any age and skill level. We tailer the lessons to the individual and spend time doing any and everything related to horses including but not limited to; learning about anatomy, general horse care, exercises, lunging/join up and riding.
